Hello, and Welcome!

I’m Dr. Patty. I am a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I completed graduate training (Master’s and PhD) in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University. This means that I have specialized training in understanding the development of children, youth and families as well as understanding when growth might get off track.

I have worked in public and private sectors, held leadership roles within interdisciplinary teams, trained psychologists and students, and developed psychology training programs and services. These different experiences have helped shape my unique philosophy and approach – seeing the whole child and family from the inside out and appreciating the critical role of empowering parents. My hope is to pair my psychological knowledge and experience with parents’ expertise on their own child.

As a psychologist and proud mother of two growing kids, I appreciate that families are busy and time together is precious. The opportunity to work with families in their own homes is not only convenient but is also the most natural and comfortable space to get to know them.
